Where we began

Along with two colleagues, Peter Chown psychologist established the Bangalow Professional Centre in 2003 with the goal of providing a comprehensive range of mental health services for adults, young people and families in the broader Northern Rivers region.

Over the years, we have built up a strong reputation among GPs, other healthcare providers and the Northern Rivers community for delivering caring and professional mental health services.

Bangalow Professional Centre is conveniently located within the Bangalow Medical Centre Complex, just a short drive from the heart of Bangalow. Nestled in a peaceful, easily accessible setting, our practice is ideal for those seeking a private and comfortable environment for mental health support.

We offer ample off-street parking, and our facilities are fully-accessible, ensuring a welcoming space for individuals of all physical abilities.

Please note that our reception is only staffed on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and phone messages will be returned on these days.
